Uma imagem de Nossa Senhora foi decapitada na cidade de Marlhes, e a imagem era feita de ferro reforçado. Os inimigos de Notre Dame estavam bem equipados para destruí-la.

La vierge de Cartaire, qui fait partie du patrimoine de la commune, a été victime d’un acte de vandalisme qui a jeté la stupeur dans le village.

La statue de la vierge, pourtant construite en fonte, avec des renforts en métal, a été cassée au niveau de la tête et de la poitrine. C’est assurément un acte volontaire.

La, ou les personnes qui l’ont dégradée, devaient être bien outillées pour réussir à casser une sculpture aussi solidement conçue. Dans le village, c’est l’incompréhension.

A statue of the Virgin Mary was decapitated in a small French village yesterday, the latest in a deluge of anti-Christian attacks in France which numbered almost 900 in 2018 alone.

The statue, located in the commune of Marlhes, was beheaded despite being made of cast iron with metal reinforcements.

According to a report by LeProgres, the vandals “had to be well equipped” to cause the damage. It had already been damaged last year as a result of a fire.

The local resident’s association has vowed to repair or replace the statue. The perpetrators have not been caught.

The incident occurred just 48 hours after the tragic fire at the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris.

As French journalist Maxime Lepante pointed out, while the reaction in the media to mosques being vandalized is one of horror, with the perpetrators being swiftly caught, attacks on Christian sites are met with far less concern.

“Two churches were vandalized per day,” said Lepante, adding, “This government, this regime….including the Pope, including the cardinals, shut their mouth, say nothing when our churches are being vandalized, and in contrast, the minute there is a mosque that has a pot of pork sausage in front of it, there’s immediately arrest and prison for the person who did it….apologies from the whole of France, the stigmatization of racism and so on, it’s an absolutely unbearable double standard!”

There were 1062 anti-Christian acts in 2018 in France, compared to just 100 anti-Muslim acts. Throughout 2018, no less than 875 churches in France were targeted.
