Vejam a entrevista dele abaixo.
Michael Bublé is back on stage after his son beat cancer
"I’m thankful for the grace. I’m thankful for the faith."
“Instead of talking about the pain and the negativity of it, I would much rather take the opportunity to really say thank you. To thank all of those people who sent their prayers, who sent their well wishes, who … who hurt for us. We are not the only family that’s gone through something like this, there are many families, and we were more than grateful for that love we got. It kept us many days. Its hard for me not to get emotional about it. It kept us alive.”
Michael Bublé fought to hold back tears in a press conference he gave to Dublin reporters, days before appearing in his first concert in nearly 4 years.
It was just 3 years ago that Michael Bublé’s son, Noah, was diagnosed with liver cancer. The jazz-pop singer immediately withdrew from singing to focus on his family, but now after a successful surgery to remove Noah’s tumor, Bublé is back on stage.
People reports on an interview Bublé gave in which he opened up about the torment he and his wife, Argentinian actress Luisana Lopilato, experienced while watching their son battle for his life:
“I’ve been to hell,” Bublé recently told the Herald Sun. “I don’t talk about the whole story, not even to my friends because it hurts too much. It’s my boy. He’s a superhero, he doesn’t need to relive it over and again. But I’ve been to hell. And you know what, hell seems like a really nice place to vacation compared to where we’ve been.“I truly thought I’d never come back to music,” Bublé continued. “Family is what matters. The health of my children is No.1. The relationship with my family, my wife, my faith — all of it is easily No. 1.”
But return he has, and to a crowd of 80,000 in Dublin’s Croke Park stadium to kick off his new tour. The Canadian crooner mentioned that he is working on a new album, in which he will incorporate the emotions of his family after experiencing such a harrowing ordeal.
Christian Headlines reports that the experience gave him a measure of clarity:
“The day that we got the diagnosis, it all came in one snap. My whole life changed and my perspective on life … and what matters … in one snap, changed,” Michael recalls. “And that’s a good thing. Because I’m thankful — I’m thankful for the grace. I’m thankful for the faith.“That clarity gave me the opportunity to find love for music again. I’m going to go back to what I was made to do. I’m going to come back to a world that needs love and romance and laughter more than it has in a long time. I’m going to be a conduit to that. This is the greatest record I’ve ever made.”
