Cardeal Conservador Diz Que Não Precisa da Petição.

Vejam sobre Petição abaixo. Hoje, o cardeal conservador George Pell, um dos que assinaram carta criticando o processo do Sínodo estabelecido pelo Papa,  disse que não há necessidade de se abandonar o Sínodo, como pedido pela petição mostrada no post anterior.

Ele também se mostra que confiante de que o Papa entendeu o apelo que fez na carta e que a comunhão para divorciados não passa.

Se ele está tranquilo...fico mais tranquilo. Em todo caso, a petição já fez efeito desejado de pressionar ainda mais e de mostrar que os conservadores leigos estão atentos.

E continuemos atentos, Sínodo não acabou e os inimigos de Cristo não dormem. Rezemos também.

Overall, Pell said he believes the synod is making solid progress.

“I think a lot of good work has been done on the first two parts of the document,” he said, referring to a working text that’s the basis for synod discussions. “I think there’s generally a good atmosphere in the synod.”

Pell also said that he believes the information flow this time is an improvement on the October 2104 edition of the Synod of Bishops, when there were charges by conservatives that Vatican briefings presented a selective vision that generally favored progressive positions.

“Both sides of the story are getting out this time, I think,” he said.

“In terms of the [synod participants] who are briefing the media, I think they’re getting a mix of left, right, and center …. it’s better than it was the last time, anyway,” Pell said.

Pell said that he believes the final report must deal with sensitive issues, such as proposals to allow divorced and civilly remarried Catholics to receive Communion, even if there’s no clear consensus among the bishops.

“I don’t think we’ll be in that position,” he said, suggesting that opposition to those proposals represents a strong majority in the synod.

“But even if it actually is 50/50 on some significant point, I think the Catholic world has to know that,” Pell said.

Vatican briefers repeatedly have told reporters that a decision on whether to release the synod’s final document is up to the pope. Pell said he believes it should be released, among other things because it’s destined to leak out anyway.

“I think no matter what happens, it will be public,” he said.

Petição para que Bispos Abandonem o Sínodo.

Eu tinha ouvido falar dessa petição e fiquei em dúvida se cabia agir de forma abrupta contra o Sínodo sem tentar mostrar em todas as oportunidades a Verdade de Cristo sobre a família, o casamento, a contracepção, etc. Sei que está havendo muita confusão e até ataques ao que disse Cristo, ataques feitos por bispos e cardeais, alguns com apoio do próprio Papa. Mas quero que os bispos conservadores lutem e lutem por Cristo.

Mas aí hoje veio um esclarecimento do site Creative Minority Report. A petição pede que os bispos que participam do sínodo da família tentem sim todas as oportunidades, mas caso vejam que Cristo vai ser derrotado diz que é obrigação deles abandonar o Sínodo e não participar disso.

Dessa forma, eu concordo e assino a petição.

Eu já fiz isso na Europa, já debati o Alcorão. O que me ajudou é que eu falei para poucos muçulmanos entre cristãos e ateus. Mas sei que é perigoso, cada dia mais perigoso.

Hoje leio que na Uganda um cristão leigo conhecido no país, que conseguiu levar muitos muçulmanos para o cristianismo, resolveu realizar vários debates sobre religião com os muçulmanos. Após o último debate, ele foi morto brutalmente, e os acusados são os muçulmanos que debateram com ele, por sentirem que perderam o debate.

Na Uganda, 85% da população é cristã e apenas 11% é muçulmana, mas ser cristão por lá tem ficado bem perigoso. Como diz o site Jihad Watch, quando se debate com muçulmanos no Ocidente, e o muçulmano perde, ele sempre apela chamando o cristão de racista ou islamofóbico. Na Uganda, eles se acharam fortes para matar o cristão.

Evangelist in Eastern Uganda Killed after Muslim-Christian Debate

NAIROBI, Kenya (Morning Star News) – Islamists upset by a Christian-Muslim debate are suspected in the killing of a long-time evangelist in eastern Uganda who led many Muslims to Christ, sources said.

The mutilated body of Samson Nfunyeku was found close to his home in Kalampete village, Kibuku District early on Sept. 23, after the latest in a series of organized debates with Islamic scholars at Tirinyi Trading Center ended prematurely due to flaring tempers the previous night. He was 59.

At a previous debate, also sponsored by Nfunyeku’s Church of Uganda and other churches, Muslim leaders had threatened him and warned him to hold no more debates, a source said.

“Four months ago Samson and others had a very hot debate at Tirinyi Trading Center with the Muslim scholars that ended on a bad note, and they gave warning that such debates were not good for the Muslims,” said one of the participants, a former sheikh (Islamic teacher) who became a Christian.

Nevertheless, another debate was held on Sept. 22 with few in attendance, said the source, whose name is withheld for security purposes. The debate ended at about 5:30 p.m., and as the trading center is about seven kilometers (four miles) from Kalampete, colleagues estimated Nfunyeku was killed between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m.

He had head injuries and a mark on his neck indicating he was strangled, they said.

Nfunyeku was a lay leader who boldly proclaimed Christ in house-to-house visits and at evangelistic events for more than 30 years. Loved ones showed strong emotion at his burial on Sept. 25 in Kalampete, sources said.

“We are going to miss the courage and passion seen in the life of Samson, who was out to win Muslims for Christ,” Gauma Samuel of the Church of Uganda’s Budaka Archdeaconry said at his funeral service.

Nfunyeku is survived by seven children and 16 grandchildren.

“They need prayers in this moment of mourning,” a source said.

Converts from Islam to Christianity in eastern Uganda have recently experienced regular instances of persecution. A Muslim in Nsinze village, Namutumba District beat and left for dead his wife and 18-year-old son on Aug. 11 after learning they had converted to Christianity, area sources said.

Issa Kasoono beat and strangled his wife, Jafalan Kadondi, but she survived, said a source who requested anonymity. He said other relatives joined Kasoono in beating her and their two sons, Ibrahim Kasoono, 18, and Ismael Feruza, 16, though the younger son managed to escape with only bruises on his arm.

The wife of a former sheikh was poisoned to death on June 17 after she and her husband put their faith in Christ in Nabuli village, Kibuku District. Namumbeiza Swabura was the mother of 11 children, including a 5-month-old baby.

In Kiryolo, Kaderuna Sub-County, Budaka District on March 28, five Muslims gang-raped the 17-year-old daughter of a pastor because the church leader ignored their warnings that he stop worship services, she said.

About 85 percent of the people in Uganda are Christian and 11 percent Muslim, with some eastern areas having large Muslim populations. The country’s constitution and other laws provide for religious freedom, including the right to propagate one’s faith and convert from one faith to another.

Ou será estupidez enorme dessas pessoas se agarrando ao poder em detrimento do país? E mais estupidez achar que a oposição ficará isenta da mentira se chegar ao poder?

Qual é o impacto dessas pessoas se agarrarem ao poder ou quererem o poder a qualquer custo?

Pergunte nas ruas quem confia em políticos.

Certa vez, um amigo me contou que não gostava mais de sua namorada e me perguntou o que deveria fazer. Eu respondi que ele devia fazer o óbvio, dizer isso a ela. Se ele mantivesse o namoro sem gostar dela estaria roubando o tempo dela e dele. O resultado seria catastrófico, pois uma traição doeria bem mais.

Eu costumo perguntar aos meus alunos de Direito quanto custa a mentira.

Você já imaginou o quanto de dinheiro sobraria ao país se fossemos mais honestos?

Devemos sempre nos perguntar se estamos agindo e raciocinando dentro do Reino da Mentira.

 

Cristão: "Converta ao Islã ou Morra" na Suécia.

Grupos terroristas que avançam sobre o Iraque e a Síria costumam colocar o símbolo dos cristãos, letra N árabe para Nazareno (aquele círculo com um U e um ponto em cima), em casas de cristãos para dizer para eles que se quiserem viver e manter suas propriedades eles devem se converter ao Islã.

Eu até comprei uma camisa com o símbolo nazareno (comentei aqui no blog) para ajudar aos cristãos do Iraque e da Síria. Aliás, o uso desse símbolo para denotar os cristãos é bem antigo. Cervantes, por exemplo, no seu livro Dom Quixote, lembrou dos "nazarenos" em terras islâmicas.

Agora o uso desse símbolo para ameaçar os cristãos chegou até a Suécia, terra supostamente cristã. Como mostra a foto acima. Eu não usaria a camisa que comprei na Suécia ou em qualquer país europeu, poderia ser morto nas ruas.

Assyrian Christians Under Siege by Pro-ISIL Sentiment in Sweden

A recent investigation by Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter has found that the Assyrian community in the city of Gothenburg, southwestern Sweden is being threatened by ISIL-inspired messages to "convert [to Islam] or die."

On Tuesday, when Swedish Assyrian Markus Samuelsson arrived at his restaurant in southwest Gothenburg, he found the walls outside covered in graffiti featuring fundamentalist Islamist messages of "Convert or Die" and "The Caliphate is Here."

The graffiti also featured the letter 'N' for 'Nazarene', known to have been written by ISIL terrorists on the doors of Christian families in Mosul prior to the Islamic State's capture of the city last year.

"Islamist slogans at a coffee shop and a pizzeria in Gothenburg, with the phrase "Convert or die."

According to DN, this is the second case in a matter of days when ISIL symbology has been found spray-painted on local businesses owned by Swedish Assyrians.

"It's awfully uncomfortable; we feel threatened," Samuelsson told the newspaper.

The Samuelsson brothers own several restaurants in the southwestern Swedish city of Gothenburg, a city of over half a million which about three thousand people of Assyrian background call home.
Samuelsson found the spray-painted warnings at his bakery. According to DN, despite the fact that the square in which the bakery is located has several other restaurants, only businesses owned by Assyrians were targeted. This was the second time in a week that an Assyrian-owned pizzeria has faced this type of vandalism.

"The messages said, among other things, that 'the Caliphate is here' and 'convert or die'. I felt ill; this is terribly unpleasant and threatening," the restaurant owner emphasized.

The Assyrians, a Christian Semitic group indigenous to the Middle East, are a minority which has been made particularly vulnerable to ISIL violence following the terrorist organization's takeover of much of Iraq and Syria over the past year. Last week, ISIL began executing Assyrian men taken hostage in Syria in February, warning that they would kill as many as 200 more if a $100,000 ransom for each is not paid.

"Our family fled to Sweden from Turkey in the 1970s, and what we are facing now is reminiscent of the stories we were told as children. It's so real and threatening that we are afraid for our safety," Samuelsson noted.

People from 26 different nationalities work in the Samuelsson brothers' restaurant chain, and staff were reported to be very upset about the vandalism which took place Tuesday.

Samuelsson has spoken to the police. "I believe that they took our information seriously, but we have not yet received any feedback yet," he noted. "I sincerely hope that they will react to this case with all seriousness. There are people working in the bakery at night, and we are worried that we may be subjected to arson attacks, or something similar," he added.

Josef Garis, the head of the Assyrian district in Gothenburg, told the newspaper that the information is distressing. "No matter who is behind this graffiti, it is painful and traumatic…It feels as if the old persecutions are closing in on us once again," Garis noted.

Arcebispo da Síria Celebra Intervenção da Rússia e Condena os EUA.

O  arcebispo da Igreja Católica Síria, monsenhor Jacques Behnan Hindo, disse que os ataque da Rússia estão realmente sendo efetivos em ajudar os cristãos, estão realmente matando terroristas do Estados Isâmico, enquanto as ações aéreas dos Estados Unidos eram apenas decorativas (window dressing) não serviam para nada.

Muitos "intelectuais" discutem quais seriam os reais motivos da Rússia na Síria, eu, no momento, estou preocupado, em saber se esses motivos têm ajudado os cristãos. As palavras do arcebispo que vive de perto o problema dizem que sim. Enquanto o arcebispo ainda diz que viu os aviões de Obama sobrevoarem sem atacar o Estado Islâmico mesmo quando o grupo terrorista fazia ataques.

As crianças responderam à musica abrindo a boca e colocando a língua do lado de fora (que o Rolling Stones não nos ouça).

Amazing video shows babies 'SINGING' in the womb: Foetus can 'hear music as early as 16 weeks - and moves their mouth and tongue in response'

Unborn babies are able to hear in the womb at just 16 weeks gestation, a new study has revealed.

For the first time scientists at the Institut Marques in Barcelona have shown a foetus is able to detect sounds, and furthermore, that they respond by moving their mouths and tongues.

It is accepted that an unborn baby's ear is fully developed at week 16 of a pregnancy.

But, until now experts did not believe a foetus could hear until week 18, at the earliest but more commonly nearer 26 weeks.

Dr Marisa Lopez-Teijon, who led the study, said the findings show a foetus responds to music transmitted intravaginally by moving their mouth and tongue, 'as if they were trying to speak or sing'.

While showing for the first time that foetuses hear as early as 16 weeks, the study also has wider implications.

Researchers note their method could be used to rule out foetal deafness, and allows the parents to ensure foetal wellbeing.

The music stimulates the part of the brain involved in communication, and on hearing the sound the foetus responds with movements similar to vocalisation - the step prior to singing and speaking.

Using the device, known as a Babypod, developed for the study, mothers could begin to stimulate their unborn baby's communication skills before they are born. 

In essence, it suggests babies can begin to learn before they are born. 

The experiment was carried out on pregnant women between the 14th and 39th week of pregnancy.

Throughout the study, the team used ultrasound to observe the reaction of the foetus, after hearing music.

The music was emitted both abdominally - against the bump - and intravaginally, via a special speaker inserted into the vagina.

The foetus's were all played Johann Sebastian Bach's Partita in A Minor.

Ultrasound scans performed prior to starting the music showed that around 45 per cent of foetuses made spontaneous head and limb movements, while 30 per cent moved their mouth or tongue, and 10 per cent stuck their tongues out.

When exposed to sound emitted via the intravaginal device, 87 per cent of foetuses reacted with head and limb movements.

The babypod device was inserted into the vagina, to allow the unborn babies to listen to the music

And they were accompanied by specific mouth and tongue movements, which stopped when the music stopped.

Furthermore, 50 per cent of the foetuses reacted with a striking movement, opening their jaw very wide and sticking their tongue out as far as it would go.

In comparison, when a set of headphones were placed over a pregnant woman's bump, and the music was played through the abdomen, researchers observed no changes in foetal facial expression.

The researchers noted: 'Foetal response begins at 16 weeks, with statistically significant variations throughout the pregnancy.

'The further on the mother is in the pregnancy, the more striking the facial movements.

'Response is different for each foetus, with different response levels each time the music is played.'

They noted that twins showed similar behaviour.

They added: 'We are aware of and recognise the importance of talking to babies from the moment they are born to promote neurological stimulation.

'Now we have the amazing opportunity to do this much sooner, which is a huge advance.'

The study was published in the journal Ultrasound.

O Padre Thomas Rosica é porta-voz do Vaticano para o Sínodo da Família. Muitos têm acusado ele de manipular as informações do sínodo tentando mostrar que os bispos são mais liberais do que realmente são. Padre Rosica é aquele que quis processar um blogueiro conservador católico do Canadá (falei disso aqui no blog) e que é bem liberal em seus pensamentos sobre casamento gay e eucaristia para divorciados.

Ele também é líder de um canal de tv chamado Salt and Light.

Foi notícia na semana que ele recebeu um resposta firme de um cardeal conservador africano, cardeal Napier.

Padre Rosica disse que o Sínodo iria abraçar o povo onde ele estivesse. Cardeal Napier respondeu que "abraçar o povo onde ele está" parece ótimo, mas foi isto que Jesus fez? Ele não fez foi chamar o povo?

Cardeal Napier foi no ponto crucial dos nossos dias. Cristo nos chama para que a gente se afaste dos pecados e O siga. Cristo vai atrás da ovelha perdida, para trazê-la de volta ao bom caminho. Hoje a Igreja parece achar que Cristo se une aos pecadores e fica por lá.
