He states: “There is no such thing as a holy war: only peace is holy” Adds that the “spirit of Assisi” must be the “shared quest for peace is, first and foremost, the path of prayer” “The path of Assisi calls religious leaders to foster a climate of dialogue amongst the faithful and within society, so that the language of arrogance may give way to the language of peace, negotiation and understanding” His message focusses on peace building using work of different religions, rather than promoting ecumenism as an end in itself. Acabei de ler a biografia de Skanderbeg. Para mim, é o mais espetacular de todos os generais cruzados. Em vida, Skanderbeg teve apoio dos papas, que o consagraram como um dos Athleta Chriti (Campeão de Cristo), junto com outros sensacionais defensores do Cristianismo, como John Hunyadi, São Fernando III, São Rei Luís IX,  e mesmo Vlad III (Vlad Drácula).

Hoje, vivemos tempos em que a estupidez efeminada permeia a Igreja, com esse tipo de frase de Leão XIV de que não existe Guerra Santa só Paz Santa. Um negócio ridículo para quem leu minimamente a Bíblia ou conhece história.
