O Drone "Ceifador" (que Matou o General Iraniano) e a Guerra Justa.

Na foto acima, temos o drone que matou recentemente o general terrorista Qassem Suleimani do Irã. O drone se chama MQ-9 Reaper Drone, capaz de carregar mísseis e de se serem controlados à distância incrível. O que matou Suleimani foi controlado do meio-oeste dos Estados Unidos para agir dentro do Iraque. O reaper (ceifador, em inglês) é produzido pelo General Atomics e custa 16 milhões de dólares (cerca de 65 milhões de reais). Tem envergadura de 66 pés de asa (apor volta de 20 metros), com peso de apenas 2 toneladas, voa a 25 mil pés, pode viajar quase 2 mil km e ser controlado a milhares de quilômetros.

O ceifador carrega alguns dos equipamentos militares de mais alta tecnologia do mercado. Seu sistema de imagem inclui sensores infravermelhos, câmeras coloridas e preto e branco, um telêmetro a laser e um dispositivo de mira para ataques precisos.

Foram usados no Afeganistão, Iraque, Iêmen, Líbia e vários outros países. Sua primeira morte relatada foi registrada em 28 de outubro de 2007, quando disparou um míssil chamado Hellfire (fogo do Inferno) contra insurgentes no Afeganistão. Também foi usado em 2015 para matar o "Jihadi John" do Estado Islâmico, um cidadão britânico que decapitou prisioneiros.

Apesar da enorme fama que o drone recebeu com a morte de Suleimani, a empresa que produz o reaper não está listada nas bolsas de valores. Em todo caso, ganhou enorme prestígio.

O general David Petraeus, que trabalhou no Iraque e no Afeganistão, declarou em entrevista para o Foreign Policy, que a morte de Suleimani é mais importante do que a morte de Bin Laden, pois Suleimani era muito mais ameaçador e assassino do que Bin Laden foi. Há descrições na internet sobre o terrível terrorismo feito por Soleimani e suas milícias iranianas, como esta aqui no link.

O general Petraeus parece duvidar da força da resposta do Irã contra os Estados Unidos, pela morte de Suleimani, por conta da situação econômica que o país vive e pela impopularidade do regime. Ataques às fontes de petróleo no Irã significariam o fim do regime.

Será que a teoria da guerra justa permite o uso de drones?

Não tratei disso em detalhe no meu livro sobre guerra justa. Mas eu responderia que a tradição da teoria da guerra justa nunca discutiu armas específicas, isso só começou a ser discutido com o surgimento da bomba nuclear. Mas mesmo com bombas nucleares os mais renomados especialistas em guerra justa, nunca descartaram o uso de bomba nuclear, pelo simples fato que a guerra justa é definida como uso da justiça e da caridade por meio da força. É um questão moral, não material.

Mas o site National Catholic Register discutiu recentemente essa questão também. No entanto, infelizmente, o artigo deles não é  muito bom, nem profundo. Traz as opiniões de alguns "especialistas", mas apenas um deles tratou realmente da questão da guerra justa.  Dr. Kevin Miller da Universidade Franciscana, o melhor deles na minha opinião e único que tratou do tema, disse que não via problema no uso de drones na ação contra Suleimani, pois era um alvo militar com registro de mortes e era uma ameaça. Mas pediu prudência no uso. Outro especialista, dessa vez da ONU, chamada Agnes Callamard, não tratou de guerra justa católica e condenou completamente a legalidade do uso de drones (uma estupidez). Outro especialista, disse que a ação pode prejudicar os cristãos na região (também não tratou da teoria da guerra justa), trazendo uma variável importante mas que no artigo ficou vazia pois não houve análise da questão.

Pena que eu não coloquei as passagens seguintes do livro A História de uma Alma, de Santa Terezinha do Menino Jesus, no meu livro sobre Teoria e Tradição da Guerra Justa:

"Ainda sinto o chamado de mais vocações; quero ser um guerreiro, um padre, um apóstolo, um médico da Igreja, um mártir - não há nenhum ato heróico que eu não queira realizar. Sinto-me tão ousada quanto um cruzado, pronto para morrer pela Igreja no campo de batalha.

"Meu coração se emociona com o pensamento dos tormentos não sonhados que sofrerão muitos cristãos no tempo do anticristo! Eu quero que todos sejam meus!"

Acho que ela concordaria que já vivemos tempos da última cruzada, aquela que luta pela alma da própria Igreja, como diz o vídeo acima do The Remnant acima.

O General Terrorista Morto por Trump

Que tiro certeiro, heim? Trump ordenou um ataque militar no Iraque, em retaliação à tentativa de invasão da embaixada americana, que matou o general iraniano Qassem Soleimani, chefe da Quds Force, elite da Guarda Revolucionária Islâmica, entre outras autoridades militares no aeroporto internacional de Bagdá nesta sexta-feira. Isso mesmo, um general do Irã, líder da mais importante ordem militar do país, foi morto no Iraque em um tiro certeiro de míssil pelos Estados Unidos. O povo Iraquiano celebrou a morte do general iraniano.

Quem era esse Qassem Soleimani? Considerado mais poderoso que o próprio presidente do Irã, Hassan Rouhani, que seguia apenas o líder máximo do país, o Aiatolá Ali Khamenei (que prometeu retaliação aos Estados Unidos).

O Irã, desde a Revolução Islâmica de 1979, é um força maligna ameaçadora no mundo. Com a tal Primavera Árabe, o Irã se aproveitou para se infiltrar em países, como Síria, Iraque e ainda mais na Palestina.

O general Qassem Soleimani já matou centenas de soldados americanos, colaborou com matanças de milhares na Síria e no Afeganistão, estava no Iraque para desestabilizar politicamente o país em favor do Irã (inclusive matando de civis que protestavam contra a presença do Irã no Iraque), comandava o Irã contra os protestos populares que querem a mudança no regime, além de colaborar com as forças terroristas do Hezbollah e do Hamas pelo mundo.

Em mensagem a um general americano chamado David Petreaus, Soleimani disse que o general deveria saber que ele controlava a política iraniana no Iraque, no Líbano, em Gaza e no Afeganistão.

Ao mesmo tempo, em que combatia o grupo terrorista Estado Islâmico, em favor de Assad na Síria, o Soleimani aumentava a influência terrorista do Irã dentro da Síria e do Iraque.

Soleimani era muito popular entre os exaltados defensores da revolução islâmica no Irã. Mas não teve educação religiosa e raramente dava entrevistas.

Quds commander Qassem Soleimani, who was killed Friday in a US strike, was one of Iran's most prominent figures who orchestrated thousands of killings on behalf of Tehran in attacks on the West and allies in the region. 

As the head of the Quds - or Jersualem - Force of Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard, Soleimani was officially charged with protecting the Islamic revolution, and in practice was used to enforce the regime's will across the Middle East. 

Commonly known as the second most powerful man in Iran, wielding more influence than the president, he was seen by many as a future leader. 

His CV included helping Shia militias to kill hundreds of American troops during the US invasion of Iraq,  backing Assad as he slaughtered civilians by the thousands during the Syrian civil war, and most recently overseeing the slaughter of hundreds of anti-Iran protesters in Iraq. 

Born into a poor agricultural family in Kerman province, central Iran, in 1957 he worked in construction and then a city water department before the 1978 Islamic Revolution began.

As protests against the Shah grew, Soleimani was involved in organising demonstrations against the monarch.

After the Shah was deposed, Soleimani joined the Revolutionary Guards at its formation in 1979, then served as leader of a company that helped repel Saddam Hussein's invasion in 1980.

He was promoted to commander of a division while not yet 30 and by the mid-Eighties was organising missions inside Iraq to undermine the Hussein regime, often bullying, bribing and otherwise exploiting Iraqi Kurds.

In 1999, during student protests in Iran, he threatened to topple the government in order to crush the demonstrations, and in 2002 - just a few months before the US invaded Iraq - he was promoted to head of the Quds Force. 

US officials say the Guard under Soleimani taught Iraqi militants how to manufacture and use especially deadly roadside bombs against US troops after the invasion of Iraq, resulting in the deaths of some 600 US troops.

Soleimani himself was popular figure among pro-regime Iranians, who saw him as a selfless hero fighting Iran’s enemies abroad.

To his fans and enemies alike, Soleimani was the key architect of Iran's regional influence, leading the fight against jihadist forces and extending Iran's diplomatic heft in Iraq, Syria and beyond.

'To Middle Eastern Shiites, he is James Bond, Erwin Rommel and Lady Gaga rolled into one,' wrote former CIA analyst Kenneth Pollack in a profile for Time's 100 most influential people in 2017.

'To the West, he is... responsible for exporting Iran's Islamic revolution, supporting terrorists, subverting pro-Western governments and waging Iran's foreign wars,' Pollack added.

With Iran roiled by protests and economic problems at home, and the US once again mounting pressure from the outside, some Iranians had even called for Soleimani to enter domestic politics.

Western leaders saw him as central to Iran's ties with militia groups including Lebanon's Hezbollah and Palestinian Hamas.

In secret US diplomatic cables released by WikiLeaks, US officials openly discussed Iraqi efforts to reach out to Soleimani to stop rocket attacks on the highly secured Green Zone in Baghdad in 2009. 

Another cable in 2007 outlines then-Iraqi President Jalal Talabani offering a US official a message from Soleimani acknowledging having 'hundreds' of agents in the country while pledging, 'I swear on the grave of (the late Ayatollah Ruhollah) Khomeini I haven´t authorized a bullet against the US.'

US officials at the time dismissed Soleimani's claim as they saw Iran as both an arsonist and a fireman in Iraq, controlling some Shiite militias while simultaneously stirring dissent and launching attacks. 

US forces would blame the Quds Force for an attack in Karbala that killed five American troops, as well as for training and supplying the bomb makers whose improvised explosive devices made IED - improvised explosive device - a dreaded acronym among soldiers.

In a 2010 speech, US General David Petreaus recounted a message from Soleimani he said explained the scope of Iranian's powers.

'He said, "General Petreaus, you should know that I, Qassem Soleimani, control the policy for Iran with respect to Iraq, Lebanon, Gaza and Afghanistan",' Petraeus said.

The US and the United Nations put Soleimani on sanctions lists in 2007, though his travels continued. 

In 2011, US officials also named him as a defendant in an outlandish Quds Force plot to allegedly hire a purported Mexican drug cartel assassin to kill a Saudi diplomat.

But his greatest notoriety would arise from the Syrian civil war and the rapid expansion of the Islamic State group. 

Iran, a major backer of Assad, sent Soleimani into Syria several times to lead attacks against IS and others opposing Assad's rule. 

While a US-led coalition focused on airstrikes, several ground victories for Iraqi forces came with photographs emerging of Soleimani leading, never wearing a flak jacket.

Muito engraçado. O método é:  mão esquerda como isca para alguém puxar, depois se vire, aperte e bata forte na mão da pessoa, fazendo cara feia, depois saia de cara feia e finalmente peça desculpas.

Quando a Vida Começa? Ciência Responde, Igreja Concorda.

Meu avô era pediatra, um dos maiores medos dele era ser enterrado vivo. Por isso, pediu que fizessem testes e dessem tempo para comprovar sua morte. Ninguém discute politicamente quando alguém morre. A ciência diz que a morte ocorre com a morte cerebral e a total falta de movimento dos órgãos.

Mas o momento em que se começa a vida tem forte apelo político, especialmente, porque a resposta vai determinar que algumas mulheres são assassinas de crianças. E aí, como o Estado deve reagir se alguém mata uma criança?

Mas a ciência sabe quando começa a vida há muito tempo. E eu também sei, porque eu já fui zigoto.

O site Catholic Stand trouxe a posição da ciência sobre quando começa a vida. A ciência concorda com o que dizem a teologia cristã e a Igreja Católica há muito tempo. A vida começa na concepção.

Vejamos o que a ciência diz, Aqui vai uma tradução da parte relevante do texto do Catholic Stand:

Critérios para a Vida
Muitos ativistas pró-aborto argumentam que a ciência nunca determinou os critérios para quando a vida começa na pessoa humana. Este argumento é comprovadamente falso. A biologia (o estudo da vida) define oito características que todos os seres vivos compartilham e que podem ser objetivamente verificadas. O texto da Miller & Levine, "Biology", diz que 1) todos os seres vivos são compostos de células; 2) possuem código genético único; 3) obtém e usam materiais e energia; 4) crescem e se desenvolvem; 5) têm a capacidade de se reproduzir; 6) respondem ao seu ambiente; 7) mantêm a homeostase (processo de regulação de equilíbrio corporal); e 8) mudam com o tempo. Essas são as características da vida.

Todos esses qualificadores estão presentes na vida vegetal. Os cientistas também não hesitam em dizer que existe uma possibilidade de vida em outros planetas por esse motivo. Então, quando todas essas características estão presentes na pessoa humana? A biologia nos diz que todos esses oito critérios são rastreados na pessoa humana desde o momento da concepção. Vamos examiná-los de maneira resumida.

Anatomia e genes celulares: A fertilização ocorre quando espermatozóides e óvulos se fundem na concepção para formar o zigoto humano (também conhecido como embrião humano). É uma célula única que contém genes da mãe e do pai. Os cromossomos da mãe e do pai se reúnem no núcleo e o embrião recebe um conjunto único de DNA, diferente do DNA de seus pais (Miller & Levine, 824).

Metabolismo e Crescimento: O metabolismo é definido como armazenamento e uso de materiais e energia. Quando o embrião recebe seu DNA, ele já está se metabolizando. O ATP é um processo que ocorre na célula que ajuda a armazenar e transferir energia (Miller & Levine, 40). O embrião usa essa energia para sofrer mitose, ou divisão celular.

Reprodução e resposta a estímulos: Às vezes, durante a fase pré-implantação, o embrião se separa. Dois embriões geneticamente idênticos são produzidos na reprodução assexuada. Os dois embriões idênticos são chamados gêmeos idênticos. Os embriões respondem a estímulos durante esse processo. A célula libera um fator solúvel conhecido como "paf", que ativa as plaquetas no sangue (O’Neill, O Papel da Paf na Embryo Physiology, 2009).

Homeostase e Mudança: A homeostase é definida como as condições internas e químicas que ajudam um organismo a manter um ambiente interno estável. Começa desde o próprio momento da concepção e não termina na pessoa humana até a morte. A mudança é constante no embrião, da fertilização à implantação. Uma vez que o embrião é fertilizado, as partículas da camada externa do óvulo são desencadeadas pelo esperma para formar uma barreira protetora. A barreira impede que qualquer outro esperma se apegue ao óvulo. A partir de então, o embrião está constantemente crescendo, mudando e mantendo seu ambiente interno, que não para durante toda a gravidez.

A Igreja e a Vida
A ciência justifica claramente a verdade que a vida humana começa na concepção. O ensino da igreja está, portanto, em uníssono com a ciência. A Instrução de 1987 da Congregação da Doutrina da Fé, Donum Vitae, indica que

Desde o momento em que o óvulo é fertilizado, começa uma nova vida que não é nem a do pai nem a da mãe; é antes a vida de um novo ser humano com seu próprio crescimento. Nunca seria humano se já não fosse humano. A essa evidência perpétua ... a ciência genética moderna traz valiosa confirmação.

Filme: O Mártir da Guerra Justa Católica

Eu mencionei Franz Jagerstatter no meu livro Teoria e Tradição da Guerra Justa (Editora Vide Editorial), e fiz uma breve explicação no rodapé sobre ele. Por isso, fiquei muito feliz em ver a realização de um filme sobre sua vida. O filme se chama A Hidden Life (em Português: Uma Vida Oculta). Que trailer fantástico, heim?

Aqui vai o que escrevi no rodapé do meu livro:

Rodapé 147 - Quando as tropas alemãs entraram na Áustria em 1938, Jägerstätter foi a única pessoa no seu vilarejo que votou contra o Anschluss (anexação da Áustria pela Alemanha), no plebiscito de 10 de Abril. Ele entrou para a Ordem Terceira de São Francisco em 1940 e trabalhou como sacristão na igreja paroquial local, sendo diferido do serviço militar várias vezes. Em 1940, aos 33 anos, ele foi convocado para o exército alemão e completou o treinamento básico. Voltando para casa em 1941 sob uma isenção como agricultor, ele começou a analisar a moralidade da guerra e discutiu este assunto com seu bispo. Depois de muitos atrasos, Jägerstätter foi finalmente chamado para o serviço ativo em 23 de fevereiro de 1943. Ele manteve sua posição contrária ao Terceiro Reich e declarou sua objeção de consciência. Sua oferta para servir como um paramédico foi ignorada. Um padre de seu vilarejo o visitou na prisão e tentou convencê-lo a servir, mas não teve êxito. Ele foi imediatamente preso e depois de um julgamento militar, condenado à morte em 6 de julho e posteriormente executado na guilhotina em 9 de agosto de 1943, aos 36 anos.

Em suma, Franz se recusou a participar de uma guerra que não tinha sentido na teoria da guerra justa católica e assim entregou sua vida a Deus contra o nazismo.

A Nova Heresia: Bergoglianismo.

Neste Natal, resolvi ler dois livros que há muito desejava ler: Noite Escura da Alma (de São João da Cruz) e História de uma Alma (de Santa Teresinha do Menino Jesus). A conclusão que cheguei do primeiro é que São João da Cruz é o mais exigente santo que li na vida, eu me senti no pré-maternal da alma. O segundo livro, apesar de muita gente pensar que é um livro "bonitinho", "escrito por uma menina", é também muito potente e exigente. Ninguém deve achar que a "Pequena Via" de Santa Teresinha é um atalho para o céu. Nossa Senhora! É difícil demais. Foi imensamente difícil para ela, e ela nasceu em um lar de mãe e pai santos. Imagina para a gente.

Ao baixar os olhos desses livros e olhar o mundo, o desespero é avassalador. O que diriam esses dois santos de um papa que agora dá nome a uma heresia e é aplaudido pelo mundo e por muitos clérigos? 

Santa Teresinha, em seu livro, chega a dizer que não vê sentido em rezar para padres pois eles devem ter a alma pura, deveríamos rezar só para os pecadores!!! O que mostra a exigência dela para quem se posiciona como representante de Jesus Cristo.

No caminho para Roma, ela viu que não é bem assim. E hoje o que ela diria de padres pedófilos e do Papa Francisco atacando praticamente todos os dogmas da Igreja?

Assim como os pecados humanos, dificilmente uma heresia dita nova é realmente nova, muita gente pensou e escreveu muita estupidez sobre o cristianismo na história. Além disso, como a Doutrina da Igreja é "sem costura", uma heresia sobre determinado aspecto faz desmoronar toda a Doutrina por encadeamento lógico.

Mas por vezes, alguém, com certo poder público, consegue estabelecer um pensamento herético que possui um mínimo de coerência, assim recebe uma denominação específica para sua heresia. Até facilita, que essa heresia seja exposta e combatida.

O site The American Catholic diagnosticou o que chamou de heresias bergoglianas, a heresia do Bergoglianismo, fruto de pensamento de Jorge Bergoglio, o Papa Francisco.

Primeiro, eu diria que essa heresia é sustentada na confusão. Bergoglio é claramente um herético para quem acompanha o que ele diz, ler o que ele escreve e conhece minimamente a Doutrina da Igreja.

Algumas vezes não é preciso isso tudo, pois, por vezes, ele diz blasfêmias muito rasteiras, tosca mesmo

Mas muitos católicos não estão preocupados com a Igreja,  e assim podem ser enganados por pedaços de textos de Francisco (escolhidos a dedo nos folhetos das missas) ou pela mídia que esconde suas blasfêmias.

Apesar de que todas as heresias católicas procuram se sustentar em passagens da Bíblia, assim como o demônio se sustentou na Bíblia para tentar Jesus Cristo, a posição de Papa, faz com que muitos clérigos repitam o que fez o demônio e deturpem a Bíblia,  as palavras e os próprios textos de Bergoglio para colocá-lo como um papa verdadeiramente católico, mesmo quando o Papa assina uma heresia, como foi o caso do Documento de Abu Dhabi ou a mudança do Catecismo contra a pena de morte. Assim a confusão é a norma no pontificado de Francisco.

Mas vamos colocar aqui como o The American Catholic definiu a heresia do Bergoglianismo:

Ele diz que como muitas heresias infernais ao longo da história, o Bergolgianismo recebeu o nome de seu autor, Jorge Bergoglio. Um número substancial de heresias incluídas no bergoglianismo se baseia nos princípios fundamentais de sua exortação, Amoris Laetitia. Isso inclui:
1. Não há pecado mortal, isto é, pecado tão grave que, quando o pecador não se arrepende, resulta na eterna perda da graça santificadora;
2. Isso é verdade mesmo para quem está ciente das exigências da lei divina;
3. A graça divina não torna todos os pecados mortais evitáveis;
4. As circunstâncias de uma situação podem dispensar alguém das exigências da lei divina;
5. Dependendo da situação e de suas circunstâncias, Deus às vezes deseja que uma pessoa pecar; e
6. Para aqueles que Deus julga e que são enviados ao inferno, o inferno não é eterno, o fogo não é eterno; e ninguém é condenado para sempre.

O site indica que deve-se ver, além das numerosas citações verbais de declarações públicas de Jorge Bergoglio, as seções de sua exortação Amoris Laetitia - 296, 297, 300-303 e 305. E diz: "Está implícito nas proclamações do bergolgianismo que Deus Pai, Jesus Cristo e o Espírito Santo cometeram erros, erros corrigidos por Jorge Bergoglio."

O site continua dizendo que a Heresia do Homossexualismo  é fruto da Heresia do Bergoglianismo. A heresia do Homossexualismo diz que: em certas situações, homens e mulheres podem se envolver voluntária e intencionalmente em ações homossexuais, e essas ações não são pecaminosas, são atos de virtude amorosa. Nessas situações, essa é a vontade de Deus para eles. Conscientes do que estão fazendo, podem continuar pecando, mesmo publicamente, e ser admitidos em todos os sacramentos da igreja. Deus os criou assim.

Depois de falar da posição do Vaticano de Francisco cada vez mais em favor da Heresia do Homossexualismo, seguindo que o que faz a Igreja na Alemanha, o site mostra o básico.

Mostra as diversas condenações ao ato homossexual na Bíblia e nos teólogos da Igreja.

The inspired words of God in both the Old and New Testaments explicitly contradict the homoheresy. Below are several excerpts which make this clear. 

Leviticus 18:22:  “You shall not lie with a male as one lies with a female; it is an abomination.”

Romans 1:26-27:  “For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their lust toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their perversity.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-11: “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

1 Timothy 1:9-10:  “ . . . understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, kidnapers, liars, perjurers . . . ”

Jude 1:7:  “Likewise, Sodom, Gomorrah, and the surrounding towns, which, in the same manner as they, indulged in sexual promiscuity and practiced unnatural vice, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire.”

Catechism of the Catholic Church

The catechism, in a section entitled “Chastity and homosexuality” directly contradicts the homoheresy.

“2357 Homosexuality refers to relations between men or between women who experience an exclusive or predominant sexual attraction toward persons of the same sex. . . . Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity, tradition has always declared that “homosexual acts are intrinsically disordered.”  They are contrary to the natural law . . . Under no circumstances can they be approved.”

“2358  . . .  This inclination, which is objectively disordered, . . . ”

“2396 Among the sins gravely contrary to chastity are masturbation, fornication, pornography, and homosexual practices.”

Church Fathers

In the early church, men known as the Church Fathers wrote about Holy Scripturem church teaching and tradition. Many of their works directly contradict today’s homoheresy. Below are several excerpts of their works.

Athenagoras:   “But though such is our character (Oh! why should I speak of things unfit to be uttered?), the things said of us are an example of the proverb, ‘The harlot reproves the chaste.’ For those who have set up a market for fornication and established infamous resorts for the young for every kind of vile pleasure – who do not abstain even from males, males with males committing shocking abominations, outraging all the noblest and comeliest bodies in all sorts of ways, so dishonoring the fair workmanship of God.”

Eusebius of Caesarea:  “[God in the Law given to Moses] having forbidden all unlawful marriage, and all unseemly practice, and the union of women with women and men with men.”

Saint John Chrysostom:  “But if thou scoffest at hearing of hell and believest not that fire, remember Sodom. . .  For such is the burning of Sodom, and that conflagration! . . Consider how great is that sin, to have forced hell to appear even before its time! . . . For that rain was unwonted, for the intercourse was contrary to nature, and it deluged the land, since lust had done so with their souls.  . . . For such was also the intercourse of the men, making a body of this sort more worthless than the very land of Sodom. And what is there more detestable than a man who hath pandered himself, or what more execrable? “

Saint Augustine:  “Those offences which be contrary to nature are everywhere and at all times to be held in detestation and punished; such were those of the Sodomites, which should all nations commit, they should all be held guilty of the same crime by the divine law, which hath not so made men that they should in that way abuse one another. For even that fellowship which should be between God and us is violated, when that same nature of which He is author is polluted by the perversity of lust.”

Saint Gregory the Great:  “Sacred Scripture itself confirms that sulfur evokes the stench of the flesh, as it speaks of the rain of fire and sulfur poured upon Sodom by the Lord. He had decided to punish Sodom for the crimes of the flesh, and the very type of punishment he chose emphasized the shame of that crime. For sulfur stinks, and fire burns. So it was just that Sodomites, burning with perverse desires arising from the flesh like stench, should perish by fire and sulfur so that through this just punishment they would realize the evil they had committed, led by a perverse desire.”

Saints, Theologians and Scholars

Numerous saints, theologians, philosophers, and scholars over the centuries have explicitly denounced the homoheresy. Quotations from the work of a few of them are below.

Saint Peter Damian:  “Truly, this vice is never to be compared with any other vice because it surpasses the enormity of all vices.… It defiles everything, stains everything, pollutes everything. And as for itself, it permits nothing pure, nothing clean, nothing other than filth . . . The miserable flesh burns with the heat of lust; the cold mind trembles with the rancor of suspicion; and in the heart of the miserable man chaos boils like Tartarus [Hell . . .This plague undermines the foundation of faith, weakens the strength of hope, destroys the bond of charity; it takes away justice, subverts fortitude, banishes temperance, blunts the keenness of prudence.”

Saint Thomas Aquinas:  “If all the sins of the flesh are worthy of condemnation because by them man allows himself to be dominated by that which he has of the animal nature, much more deserving of condemnation are the sins against nature by which man degrades his own animal nature….”

Saint Catherine of Siena:  “But they act in a contrary way, for they come full of impurity to this mystery, and not only of that impurity to which, through the fragility of your weak nature, you are all naturally inclined (although reason, when free will permits, can quiet the rebellion of nature), but these wretches not only do not bridle this fragility, but do worse, committing that accursed sin against nature, and as blind and fools, with the light of their intellect darkened, they do not know the stench and misery in which they are. It is not only that this sin stinks before me, who am the Supreme and Eternal Truth, it does indeed displease me so much and I hold it in such abomination that for it alone I buried five cities by a divine judgment, my divine justice being no longer able to endure it. This sin not only displeases me as I have said, but also the devils whom these wretches have made their masters. Not that the evil displeases them because they like anything good, but because their nature was originally angelic, and their angelic nature causes them to loathe the sight of the actual commission of this enormous sin.”

Saint Bernardine of Siena:  “No sin in the world grips the soul as the accursed sodomy; this sin has always been detested by all those who live according to God.… Deviant passion is close to madness; this vice disturbs the intellect, destroys elevation and generosity of soul, brings the mind down from great thoughts to the lowliest, makes the person slothful, irascible, obstinate and obdurate, servile and soft and incapable of anything; furthermore, agitated by an insatiable craving for pleasure, the person follows not reason but frenzy.… Just as people participate in the glory of God in different degrees, so also in hell some suffer more than others. He who lived with this vice of sodomy suffers more than another, for this is the greatest sin.”

Saint Peter Canisius:  “As the Sacred Scripture says, the Sodomites were wicked and exceedingly sinful. Saint Peter and Saint Paul condemn this nefarious and depraved sin. In fact, the Scripture denounces this enormous indecency thus: ‘The scandal of Sodomites and Gomorrhans has multiplied and their sins have become grave beyond measure.’ So the angels said to just Lot, who totally abhorred the depravity of the Sodomites: ‘Let us leave this city….’ Holy Scripture does not fail to mention the causes that led the Sodomites, and can also lead others, to this most grievous sin. . . . Those unashamed of violating divine and natural law are slaves of this never sufficiently execrated depravity.”

Why ?

Why would anyone, let alone a bishop of the church, proclaim and be an advocate for the homoheresy? Two answers come to mind.

Church Powers and Princes are Homosexualist

Many of those ordained to Holy Orders who now rule in the earthly power structures of Jesus’s church are  thoroughly homosexualized. They are known publicly as the “lavender mafia.” It includes thousands of ordained homocriminals, including sodorapists, pederasts, homopredators, and perverts, who have had tens of thousands of victims worldwide. It also includes those pastors, bishops, archbishops and cardinals who have enabled these ordained homocriminals and who have, for decades, shuttled them from parish to parish, diocese to diocese, and country to country – with the full and certain knowledge that the homocriminals would again commit their crimes.  Some of these same ordained and consecrated men have authorized the payment by the church of billions of dollars to settle claims by their victims – billions of dollars of the money given by  the faithful.

Of course such men would cum laetitia accept and promulgate the homoheresy.

Doctrinal Dominoes Fall – One, Then All

Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. The Bergoglians reject this. They are pursuing a path that appears to be based on this scheme: If one, only one, of the truths proclaimed by Jesus’s church is shown to be false, then Jesus’s church is destroyed, and the heretical new church will endure.

A fifth century Church Father, Vincent of Lerins, warned about this demonic plan:

For if once this license of impious fraud be admitted, I dread to say in how great danger religion will be of being utterly destroyed and annihilated. For if any one part of Catholic truth be given up, another, and another, and another will thenceforward be given up as a matter of course, and the several individual portions having been rejected, what will follow in the end but the rejection of the whole? On the other hand, if what is new begins to be mingled with what is old, foreign with domestic, profane with sacred, the custom will of necessity creep on universally, till at last the Church will have nothing left untampered with, nothing unadulterated, nothing sound, nothing pure; but where formerly there was a sanctuary of chaste and undefiled truth, thenceforward there will be a brothel of impious and base errors. May God’s mercy avert this wickedness from the minds of his servants; be it rather the frenzy of the ungodly.

The homoheretics have tried to open wide the gates of hell to the unsuspecting faithful, not knowing that they will, if unrepentant, pass through the gates themselves.  No matter what someone wearing papal white may exhort or proclaim, the homoheresy is and will be heresy.
